Non-fire Rated Fiberglass Doors & Frames
The unique construction of the non-fire-rated fiberglass door combines a beautiful, yet tough exterior surface with your choice of three inner door cores, urethane insulated, honeycomb, or balsa.
Our fiberglass commercial doors are totally sealed, solid core construction and resistant to a broad range of elements such as moisture, chemicals, gases, salt and micro-organisms. They are attractive, corrosion resistant, lightweight, yet are ideal for heavy duty performance.. The cavities between the FRP sub-frame are then filled completely with your choice of three cores.
The skins of the door begin with the application of a seamless FRP face sheet, available in smooth, pebble or woodgrain design. The face sheet is gel-coated and standard finish is matte. all before machining for hardware.
The result of this process is a lightweight, extremely high corrosion-resistant, factory prefinished door assembly that carries a lifetime warranty. It is important to note that our solid commerical fiberglass door & frame products contain no ferrous metal or wood components in their construction that could lead to premature failure.

Our commercial fiberglass doors & frames have been successfully tested & passed to both UL10B neutral pressure and UL10C/UBC7-2 positive pressure test standards for a 1-1/2 hour duration and 250 degree temperature rise. These patent pending door and frame constructions blend the latest technologies in fire protection components with the attributes of fiberglass to provide the ultimate fiberglass barrier. Seamless designs utilizing concealed intumescents, along with factory pre-finishes in your choice of colors, provide aesthetically pleasing openings to satisfy the most demanding architectural designs.
Basic features include sizes up to 4′ x 8′ singles and 8′ x 8′ pairs equipped with an overlapping astragal for bolt-in installation into existing block walls. The units can be prepared for all standard UL listed builders hardware with the exception of the concealed type.
Openings up to 1-1/2 hours can be equipped with metal-framed vision lights with up to 1,296 square inch viewing area when glazed with fire-rated ceramic (non-wire) glazing materials or 100 square inch viewing area when glazed with UL listed wire glass.
Doors can also be equipped with up to 24″ x 24″ UL Listed fire-rated louver assemblies and/or factory applied moldings.

Not all FRP door and frame products are factory prefinished, and not all factory prefinishes are equal.
Our satin door finish is molded-in, not applied as an afterthought. A matching premium polyurethane coating on our commercial fiberglass frames provides the same excellent mechanical durability and superior resistance to sunlight, moisture, and chemicals.
