Stainless steel doors and frames from Metropolitan Door can make a beautiful statement and provide long lasting performance on front entryways or interior doors for businesses such as:

Because every MDI stainless steel door & frame is custom made, you can develop just the right door to complement your design scheme or give your space a distinctive signature. Our stainless doors & frames are all stainless, inside and out, so they won't rust, warp or pull apart at the seams. They'll make an impression that lasts!

Generally, anything that can be furnished in custom or standard hollow metal can be furnished by Metropolitan in type 304 or 316 stainless steel in typical no. 4 (satin) or no. 8 (mirror/polish) finishes or a variety of special finishes, including no. 6, non-directional (angel hair) and graffiti (random swirl).

Metropolitan offers stainless steel door and frame units with sound ratings up to STC 51. Combination sound and fire ratings are available up to STC 47 and class B (1 ½ hours). Ratings are available for glass doors as well.

STC rated units are custom-made to the highest standards. Custom engineering is available. STC units can also be made in any of Metropolitan Door's decorative finishes and patterns.
